Some updates

Two months have passed since Chapter 12 of Kieran was posted on this blog, during which I have been working hard at getting the rest of the story ready for the eBook. So where do things currently stand?

In a word, good. In two, very good.

Things really are shaping up nicely in Chapters 13-24. I've made a few hints about what's coming on the Facebook page, but I still want to keep the majority of the story under wraps. There's a lot of story left to tell so I want everything to be a surprise, both the good, the bad and the romantic.

I can (and will) say that things are panning out how I envisioned them back when planning the story. Some things have worked out even better than I thought, particularly during a number of scenes starring Kieran and Jim. Similarly, the strength of Kieran and Jordan's relationship seems to grow stronger with every word I write about the couple. C1-12 covered them getting together, C13+ takes things even further.

Some of the characters introduced early in the story are making bigger appearances now. These are things I planned from the beginning, so it's nice to be able to write these scenes that have been floating about my head for over a year. We also get to see the characters that we already know, love & hate, in different scenarios, allowing us to get a deeper insight into their varied personalities.

Of course we get some of our questions answered too. Does Kieran come out in the story? If so, to whom? What happens with Torri? Will Jordan and Kieran stay together? Who is the closeted character?… Multiple, distinct elements were in play during the 1st half of the story, so it's great to be able to finally unravel those and learn the facts behind them.

So that's a brief update into what's currently happening in the world of Kai Taylor. Yes, I'm working hard on the story and yes I'm aiming to have it out to you as soon as possible. I love writing the story so I really can't wait to have you read it.

I'll be posting one, maybe two more eBook updates before the 'It's done!' announcement. I know you like to know what's going on, and silence from me doesn't help to comfort, but I'd much rather prefer to write 500 words in Kieran than 500 words in a blog post saying 'It's coming soon'. Still, I understand that there has to be a mix of the two, so there will be update posts coming as we get nearer to the completion of the story.
